As i finished reading the article,i understand that in America the flash flood is the fastest type of flood. In America, 70 000 of peoples had died because of this phenomena.The causes of flash flood are failure of a dam, levee, thunderstorm, affecting a localized area within seconds.flash flood happened within a short time and create havoc during the rainy season.within second,water level rise and create chaos by wiping out people as well as their property.


Flash flood effect destruction of the drainage system in the cities.Next,water contamination with chemical waste, paint, pesticide, gasoline, etc.Besides,drowning of people, pets and animals and destruction of farmland and crops.Flash flood can also has an indirect effect such as roads and rail lines are broken and hence the whole transportation system gets disrupted.Moreover,growth of economic productivity becomes slow.Although,electrical and gas service may get interrupted.


Now i also know the solutions based on my reading.The first solution is pack your valuable items, such as personal documents, certificates in a sealed bag.Next,turn-off the main switch that controls the electricity system of your house.last but not least,while waiting for emergency services, you can take shelter on a higher ground.
